Legal Operations Assistant

About the role

Join Tether's Legal Operations team to support a wide range of legal matters, focusing on KYC/KYB requests, corporate document management, and cross‑border stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for KYC/KYB inquiries and coordinate responses to banks, vendors, auditors, and customers.
• Manage, update, and maintain a corporate document database, ensuring accuracy, version control, and appropriate access permissions.
• Prepare, review, and organize corporate documentation.
• Identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements across legal operations workflows.
• Explain Tether’s various business lines to internal teams and external parties.
• Address ad‑hoc legal requests and projects as they arise.

Required profile

• Prior experience in legal operations, corporate law, compliance, or a related in‑house or law‑firm role.
• Familiarity with KYC/KYB and corporate due‑diligence processes.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and maintaining corporate documents and records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote, cross‑border environment.
