Machine Learning Engineer - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer. The engineer builds and deploys machine learning models into production, combining data science and engineering principles to train, serve and monitor ML systems at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop production-ready machine learning pipelines in Python, using frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Deploy and manage scalable model serving infrastructure supporting real-time and batch predictions.
• Implement and optimize MLOps practices to automate model testing, deployment and versioning.
• Monitor production models for performance degradation and data drift to ensure long-term reliability.
• Work with data scientists to turn experimental models into robust, maintainable production code.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models into production.
• Strong background in training, serving and monitoring large-scale ML systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• MLOps practices and model serving infrastructure.
