Remote Property Management Leasing Assistant

About the role

A remote Property Management Leasing Assistant is needed to support lease administration, tenant relations, rent collections and daily property management operations. The position uses AppFolio and suits someone who enjoys working with tenants and keeping up with deadlines and follow-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate lease agreements and tenant records in AppFolio
• Track lease expirations, prepare renewal documents and coordinate with tenants
• Process lease amendments and keep property and tenant information up to date
• Respond to tenant inquiries, document concerns and help resolve tenant issues
• Assist with eviction notices, documentation and follow-ups according to established procedures
• Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue rent and keep collection records accurate
• Keep lease agreements, tenant communications, payment records and property documents organized

Required profile

• Experience in property management, leasing administration, tenant relations or customer service
• Experience handling lease agreements, renewals and amendments
• Knowledge of rent collection procedures and delinquency follow-ups
• Familiarity with eviction documentation is a plus
• Strong written and verbal English, excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
