Senior Project Manager - Machine Learning Initiatives

About the role

Ria Money Transfer, a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, offers global money transfers, currency exchange, mobile top-up, bill payment and check cashing. The Senior Project Manager owns projects end to end, from discovery and requirements through production release, combining project management with delivery management. The role initially focuses on machine learning initiatives for the Pricing and Finance teams and bridges Business, Product, IT and partner technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end to end, from discovery and requirements through testing, production release and post-release stabilization, initially on machine learning initiatives for Pricing and Finance.
• Own the Business Requirements Document (BRD) for each project, working with business and technical stakeholders to define scope and requirements.
• Build, maintain and monitor project plans and schedules across multiple concurrent projects, and manage dependencies between projects and teams.
• Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, issues and decisions, and keep stakeholders and regional teams informed.
• Proactively identify, track and mitigate risks and delays, and document decisions, action items and owners from meetings.
• Partner with functional and regional teams to identify priorities, implement projects and communicate the roadmap.

Required profile

• 5+ years of combined experience in project management and technical analysis, including at least 3 years leading projects as a Project Manager.
• Led at least one technical project from discovery through production release, owning the plan, requirements and go-live.
• Wrote business requirements documents or functional specifications used to build and test a solution.
• Managed multiple concurrent projects with shared resources or cross-project dependencies.
• Presented project status, risks and trade-offs to senior leadership.
• Understands systems at a functional level, including data flows, integrations and APIs, and how requirements become testable acceptance criteria.
• Strong interpersonal skills, persistence and ability to deliver in an ambiguous environment.
• Preferred: experience in financial services (payments, remittance, FX, pricing), data science or machine learning projects, Agile/hybrid delivery with Jira and Confluence, PMP/CSM certification, and experience with global teams across time zones.
