Job description

About the role

This position is part of the Infrastructure Engineering organization and is a full‑time, permanent role. It is ideal for candidates who want to work on Linux systems that support the observability platforms used across the company, and to manage large deployments of open‑source observability tools.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain logging platforms.
Design, build, and maintain metrics and tracing platforms.
Design, build, and maintain front‑end visualization tools.
Support and maintain network capture visibility platforms and packet brokers.
Collaborate with other teams to support these systems.
Create documentation and examples for end‑users.

Required profile

Experience supporting and troubleshooting server hardware and Linux systems.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, and network capture technologies.
Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container platforms and GitOps practices.
Residency in El Salvador.

Required skills

Linux system administration
Bash scripting (also Ruby or other high‑level languages)
Automation tools: Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
Kubernetes / container orchestration
Observability stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Opensearch, Graylog, MongoDB, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Mimir, MetricTank, Tempo, Jaeger, Kafka, RedPanda, Redis, min.io
Network monitoring tools: nProbe, Plixar Scrutinizer, ntopng, Arkime, Elastic Beats, Fluentbit, OpenTelemetry
Kernel and CPU optimization for packet capture, network‑card drivers, kernel bypass techniques
