Restaurant Auditor

About the role

The Restaurant Auditor will ensure daily compliance with quality, service and cleanliness standards across Grupo PABE’s dining establishments in San Salvador. The role involves inspecting dining rooms, kitchens and support areas, verifying that operational procedures are correctly followed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of restaurant floor, kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
• Check inventory levels, monitor waste (mermas) and verify proper use of supplies.
• Review adherence to food safety, hygiene and customer service standards.
• Prepare reports documenting findings, corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Follow up on implementation of corrective measures and support teams in adopting best practices.

Required profile

• Experience or strong aptitude in operational auditing within a restaurant environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, cost control and performance indicators.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene best practices.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
• Relevant education in administration, hospitality, gastronomy or related fields; prior restaurant or audit experience is a plus.
