Bilingual Medical Patient Services Coordinator

About the role

The role provides remote front‑desk and patient communication support for U.S.-based medical practices. You will handle calls, emails, and messages, coordinate appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and maintain accurate patient records.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound patient communications and make outbound calls for appointment confirmations and follow‑ups.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule medical appointments while keeping provider calendars up to date.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, update demographic information, and maintain records in EMR/EHR systems.
• Update reports, databases, and assist with routine documentation and special projects.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience supporting U.S. healthcare accounts (medical practice, BPO, CPO, or freelance).
• Advanced English (C1/C2) and fluent Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours and collaborate with remote teams.

Required skills

• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Insurance eligibility verification.
