Human Resources Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to support our growing furniture delivery company. The role is remote, based in El Salvador, and focuses on HRIS management, employee relations, and recruitment for temporary and hourly full‑time staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the HRIS system for the assigned region, ensuring accurate data entry and providing training to HR staff.
• Advise local managers on employee relations matters, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent for temporary associates and hourly full‑time positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and drive timely recruitment.
• Conduct interviews, coordinate background checks, and lead new‑hire orientation.
• Maintain relationships with staffing agencies and other recruitment sources.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on HRIS, employee relations, and recruitment.
• Experience in a US‑based company and knowledge of United States labor laws preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with HRIS systems.
