Operational Excellence Senior Specialist

About the role

Maersk is seeking an Operational Excellence Senior Specialist to drive sustainable process improvements across its logistics operations. You will partner with business teams to identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives that embed standardized, efficient ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to translate requirements into scalable Operational Excellence solutions.
• Apply and coach teams on The Maersk Way and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Facilitate A3 problem‑solving initiatives and structured root‑cause analysis.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects across products and functions.
• Conduct process mapping, value‑stream analysis, and current‑state assessments.
• Identify waste, performance gaps, and automation/digitalization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Automation Specialists to develop fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
• Support sustainment, governance, and verification of improvements and realized benefits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or process improvement with a proven track record of delivering initiatives.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Green Belt certification preferred.
