SEO Strategist (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

A recruiter for a client in the transportation and logistics sector is hiring an SEO Strategist to drive organic search growth across a portfolio of established websites covering heavy hauling, equipment transport, oversize loads, freight, auto transport and container transport. The role sits close to the Senior SEO Lead and works with writers, designers, developers, data and PPC teams. It is 100% remote and open to candidates living in Latin America; applications must be in English.

Key responsibilities

• Run SEO strategy and keyword research across the portfolio, monitor competitors and investigate ranking drops and traffic changes
• Write content briefs and refresh existing pages, generate and edit AI-assisted content, and support programmatic SEO and location pages
• Run site crawls, coordinate technical fixes with developers and build SEO reports and dashboards linked to leads and revenue
• Support link-building and outreach, and collaborate with writers, designers, developers and the PPC team
• Use AI tools to speed up research, briefs, QA and reporting, and document processes and SOPs

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in SEO, content, digital marketing or a related analytical role
• Understanding of keywords, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking and indexation
• Strong work ethic, ownership and clear written communication, able to work independently
• Nice to have: experience in lead-generation industries, programmatic SEO, web content writing, WordPress/Airtable, basic HTML/schema, and prompt or automation building
