Healthcare Appointment Setter – Telehealth Services

About the role

OSA Global Staffing is looking for a detail‑oriented Healthcare Appointment Setter to manage telehealth scheduling, coordinate with medical providers, and ensure patients are prepared for virtual visits.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients via phone, email or messaging to schedule, confirm, and reschedule telehealth appointments.
• Collect and verify patient information, conduct basic intake, and enter data into the EHR/EMR system.
• Coordinate physician availability, monitor calendars, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Send confirmations, reminders and follow‑up communications to reduce no‑shows.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, medical reception, or patient coordination.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle inbound and outbound calls.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting daily scheduling targets.

Required skills

• Experience with EHR/EMR systems or healthcare CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (or similar scheduling software).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
